For this Watery Wednesday I have chosen a photo taken last summer here in Denmark, when I went on a short holiday with my youngest son. We are standing on the island Mors and are looking towards Salling. The water passing by is called Sallingsund.
The bridge is called "Sallingsundbroen", which means the bridge crossing Sallingsund. It is 1717 meters long and 26 meters above the water line. Quite high when you stand on it and look down!
This bridge is actually on the Danish 50 Kroner (DKK) banknotes. I love this bridge and the nature surrounding it. Salling and Mors are some of the most beautiful places in Denmark, I think.
Have a nice Wednesday :)
